COMPASS at the Long Night of Research in Vienna

The Long Night of Research, Austria’s largest research event, took place on Friday, April 13, 2018. Numerous national research institutions opened their doors to the public, who had the chance to listen to scientific talks, take part in guided tours, and discuss the latest findings with researchers.

As COMPASS strives for full alignment with the spirit and action points of responsible research and innovation we used this opportunity to engage in science education.

More than 1,600 visitors made their way to the Vienna University of Economics and Business that night. At the COMPASS station, visitors had the opportunity to take a quiz on Responsible Innovation, find out how COMPASS is supporting SMEs to manage their innovation activities in a responsible manner, and learn and discuss about Responsible Innovation with COMPASS experts.

For COMPASS it was very inspiring to talk to people and feel their interest in the work on Responsible Innovation at SMEs.
